Pashmina (from the Persian pashm) refers to the plush cashmeres of Asia. The yarn is spun from the wool of goats raised in the high, remote reaches of the Himalayas. When woven into a matrix of pure silk, pashmina yarn produces a surprisingly soft and supple fabric that offers great warmth without bulk.
We've teamed with skilled artisans from a small Tibetan workshop to bring you a stunning line of exquisite hand-loomed pashmina in a delicious array of rich, sensuous colors at competitive prices.
Our authentic pashmina cashmeres are naturally soft without the need for artificial enhancements such as brushing that disguise the cheaper quality textiles which have flooded the market.
And since we donate a portion of every pashmina sale to educational programs in Nepal, shopping is practically guilt free!
